Hi, I'm Kaitlin.

I can't seem to keep my hands still, and even though I have a busy, full-time science career, I'm not fulfilled without the making of things. Furthermore, I'm most enriched by projects that start with inspiration from other makers (fiber artists, jewelry makers, sewists, weavers) and take on a life of their own as I go. I don't like following directions. As such, all of the items in my shop are by my own design (unless otherwise indicated, every once in a while).

I'm deeply inspired and passionate about storied items. For me, the work and attention that go into something directly relate to its value. I want things that speak to me. Because of this, I plan to offer designs that have brought me joy. I hope that they will do the same for you. My offerings will change with the seasons and my mood. There probably won't be duplicates, especially for art pieces that generate their own identity as they're worked.
